Woodlands, Texas – April 21, 2023 -- Harley-Davidson of Kingwood Harley-Davidson and Harley-Davidson of The Woodlands, have been acquired by Michael Veracka. Michael has been in the Harley-Davidson business since 2003, owning and operating ten of the largest Harley dealerships in the country. The stores will become the newest members to Michael's family of dealerships under the umbrella of MOD Enterprises (www.mod-enterprises.com). MOD Enterprises currently has stores in California, Washington, Oregon, Kansas, Colorado, Arizona, Georgia, Utah, and now Texas.
“I’m excited to add Kingwood Harley-Davidson and The Woodlands Harley-Davidson, expanding my national footprint into the greater Houston area, and growing ridership in the great state of Texas. The teams at both dealerships have done a great job over the years building a large community of Harley riders, as well as a great business that we will continue to develop for many years to come. I founded my company as a rider, built for riders, and dedicated to passing that passion along to others from coast to coast. My team and I are 100% committed to the Harley-Davidson brand and the sport of motorcycling.” says owner, Michael Veracka. Kingwood Harley-Davidson and The Woodlands Harley-Davidson are home to one of Texas’s largest riding communities. The new ownership will have over 100 events this year including bike nights, group rides, open house parties and charity events. “Our inventory of new & used Harley-Davidson motorcycles will quadruple in the next few months, along with a huge selection of parts, accessories, and clothing, cementing our stores as the destination Harley-Davidson motorcycle dealerships in Houston and all of Texas. The trucks have already started shipping motorcycles from my other stores across the country to immediately increase the selection for our local customers when we open the doors as Kingwood H-D and Woodlands H-D” proclaimed Veracka. Along with the massive inventory expansion, the new owner is hiring for all departments to add an additional 50 team members to the current staff in preparation for the increased business. The additional staff is necessary to achieve their Wildly Important Goal, ‘To fulfill dreams by delivering a premium customer experience, creating customers for life.’
“My company allows us to take existing stores that do an exceptional job and continue building them into world class operations, while often doubling or tripling the staff with top industry professionals. Providing additional training for the staff combined with increased marketing, events and inventory, has proven successful in our stores across the United States. We continue introducing thousands of new Harley-Davidson riders each year to the sport.” added Veracka.
